Purpose of the role

The primary responsibility of this position is to support credit management solutions including loan sale and credit insurance to support business requirements of MUFG Bank in APAC. It includes to collect and input necessary data to carry out internal approval process of loan distribution and credit risk mitigation tools and assist to execute documentation and binding of credit insurance transactions. Also, this position requires to handle internal risk / compliance related reporting in APAC region as well as head office in Tokyo, and administrative tasks to support the department and management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support senior members by handling applications to assess economic rationale and financial impact of credit risk mitigation tools including loan sale, funded / unfunded sub-participation, deposit pledge hedge scheme, and credit default swaps, etc.

  • Handle expense payments and peruse properness and efficiency of usage

  • Support RM’s business and relevant divisions by providing credit market information and analysis.

  • Work closely with senior staffs to contribute to front office activities and execution of credit solution tools through documentation and premium payment tasks, etc.

  • Assist team leader by collecting & inputting necessary data and managing lists to track progress of initiatives and transactions.

  • Responsible for working closely with a direct supervisor and seek advice and guidance to contribute to the entire department.

  • Continuously enhance process and tool in collaboration with relevant teams

  • Conduct front-middle functions and prepare reporting related to risk & compliance in the region and to head office in Tokyo and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines.

  • Support other members in the department through administration works such as expense payment, travel arrangement, etc.

  • Act fast and properly as assistant for head of ACPMO by liaising closely with relevant parties.

  • Manage own tasks independently and proactively which involves regular progress reports to direct supervisor.

  • Follow directions from supervisor and manager and handle additional tasks

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in corporate banking

  • Bachelor’s degree qualified

  • Good communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders

  • Strong skills for PC (especially for excel) and financial analysis/numbers

  • Experience in coordinating events and schedules for management

  • Positive attitude for wide range of administration works
